Tiny Art Café and the Miniature Memories of Jillian Holmes

First Friday at The Painted Cat Studio downtown is all about tiny things.

Pick a small art project from the Tiny Art Café menu: a tiny painting with canvas, paint and a little easel ($25), a little bell jar scene with the jar and polymer clay ($20), mini book making with supplies for two books ($15), small sewn forest friends with needle, thread and felt ($15), or the miniature colouring buffet ($10).

Local artist Jillian Holmes is showing The Miniature Memories of Jillian Holmes, her collection of dollhouse displays, and you can win a dollhouse in the silent auction. A portion of all proceeds goes to the Alzheimer's Society. Love Buzz will have refreshments and treats at a pop-up café.

5 to 8 pm. Reservations are recommended for the Tiny Art Café through thepaintedcat.ca.
